Modernization of Normal Operation Safety Important Systems for the South Ukrainian NPP continues

Tens of trucks loaded with equipment travel to Ukraine

Also this year, we worked on several significant contracts within a comprehensive program to increase the safety of nuclear units in Ukraine. The program is funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The three-year project with a total value of 24 million euros is completed with the dispatch of the last set of trucks loaded with equipment for the South Ukrainian NPP at the end of the year. The contract for the modernization of reactor building and turbine hall normal operation safety important systems is being handled by NUVIA as the leader of a consortium with the local Ukrainian partner.

Over 20 fully loaded trucks were shipped with goods with a total weight of almost 200 tons within the contract. The delivered equipment was placed in 700 boxes. The assembly of switchboards and other electronics took place in rented premises on a huge area of the former factory hall in Třebíč. The weight of the accompanying contract documentation was tens of kilograms.
