NUVIA has won 4 large projects in Ukraine


We will modernize Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plants in next 2 years.

NUVIA has been awarded contracts for the Ukrainian State Enterprise NAEK Energoatom in the international tenders. There are four major contracts in the field of modernization of Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plants with a total financial volume of  more than 62 million euros. The subject of the contracts is the modernization of the key safety systems of nuclear power plants, such as the nuclear island, the turbine building and the backup diesel generators. These projects are funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and will be implemented by NUVIA in a consortium with Ukrainian partners. Work will take place at all NPPs in Ukraine by the end of 2020.

The official announcement of contracts awarding took place in a festive atmosphere at the Czech Embassy in Kiev last week with the participation of His Excellency Ambassador Radko Matula, the First Counsellor of the France Embassy and Economic Counsellors of both countries. The acceptance letters were taken over by Chairman of the Board of Directors Martin Pazúr from the NAEK Energoatom President’s First Deputy.
