NUVIA supported volunteers from South Korea

NUVIA employees joined Korean volunteers in publicly beneficial works in Třebíč.

As well as last year, the month of August was in the spirit of consolidating Czech-Korean relations in the region.  A group of  university students and employees of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) came to the Czech Republic to help to non-profit institutions and showcase Korean culture and traditions. KHNP is one of potential suppliers of new nuclear power unit at Dukovany NPP. Their business strategy is built, among other things, on close relationships and cooperation with people in power plant region.

In frame of volunteer activities, we took part in repairing the banister at the football stadium with Korean delegation.

The group of students also prepared Korean energy festival for the inhabitants of Třebíč and surroundings where they performed typical folk dances and offered a show of Korean cuisine.
At the end of the event, NUVIA hosted the top management of KHNP, headed by President Jae Hoon Chung, during friendly dinner in the Jewish Quarter of Třebíč.
